The 5th-generation Haldex AWD software upgrade is finally available!

More traction with a smarter torque split & faster AWD engagement — all safely and reliably.

In stock form, the 5th-generation Haldex unit sends only 30% of the power to the rear wheels during acceleration, even though it is capable of transferring up to 50%.

The 50/50 split is reached only in very specific conditions, and most of the time the torque distribution remains 70/30 between the front and rear axles.

Our software delivers an almost perfectly balanced 50/50 power split between the front and rear axles, dramatically enhancing performance in every driving scenario — all while maintaining the factory-safe limits of the Haldex system.

Tuned vehicles benefit from this even more, as higher power levels place greater load on the front axle, which can lead to loss of traction—especially during launches.

For example:

In a stock MK7 Golf R equipped with 5th-generation Haldex AWD, out of 300 horsepower, only about 90 hp is delivered to the rear axle.

→ After the Haldex software upgrade, out of the same 300 horsepower, up to 150 hp can be sent to the rear axle.
