Nissan GT-R VR38DETT Forged Engine by QT
In today's turbo engines, which almost without exception produce brutal amounts of torque, component durability becomes a limiting factor very quickly.
In the case of the VR38DETT — very quickly.
This particular engine was previously built elsewhere around 60,000 km ago. There were no major issues affecting its usability, but it was opened pre-emptively — and not without reason.
We encountered several things that were done a bit "oddly," which we explain in more detail on our YouTube channel.

Practically everything in the engine was replaced, along with carefully selected machining work.
