Arto´s MB AMG GTS

Wrapped up the final touches on Arto's AMG GTS for the upcoming driving season.

One of the key upgrades on Arto's AMG GTS for the upcoming driving season is the calibration of the 7G-DCT transmission — something only a very small number of specialists in the world are capable of doing properly.

This car sees regular and serious track use, including Nürburgring, which makes transmission performance and temperature management extremely important.

Even though the cooling system has been built to handle the hybrid turbo setup, one of the known challenges with the GTS during heavy track use is transmission temperatures. With proper transmission calibration we are able to address part of this and improve both durability and performance on track.

Key changes include:
• Clutch pressure increased to **32 bar**
(Stock GT 22 bar / GT-C & GT-R 25 bar / Black Series 27.5 bar)
• Race Start RPM increased to 3,800–5,000 RPM**, adjustable by the driver via paddle shifters
• Reduced torque intervention** during launch and upshifts
• Faster shift speeds** with optimized odd-even and even-odd gear engagement
• Transmission coolant pump duty cycle set to 100% after warm-up**

(Factory calibration reaches 100% only at 99C)

With these changes, transmission coolant temperatures remain significantly below factory thresholds even under heavy track use.

QT Also fixed the ECU Tune for this, as the previous tune made for the hybrid turbos was not working as it should.
